A Challenge and an opportunity
India is at a crossroads. The region’s civil society landscape has been rapidly changing. With an increasing number of billionaires, high-net-worth individuals, and philanthropic Foundations seeking to transform the social impact sector, civil society organisations are in a unique position to leverage the opportunity.
This inevitably brings a challenge for those organisations. They are expected to perform with increased transparency and accountability, and provide their donors with measurable results and social impact.
